Mark Hanna

Marcus Alonzo Hanna (September 24, 1837 – February 15, 1904) was an American businessman and Republican politician who served as the 25th vice president of the United States from 1901 to his death in 1904 under President Theodore Roosevelt.

As vice president, Hanna actively opposed Roosevelt's agenda, and it was widely believed he was planning to unseat Roosevelt in the 1904 election.
