Elihu Root
Elihu Root (/ˈɛlɪhjuː ˈruːt/; February 15, 1845 – February 7, 1937) was an American lawyer, Republican politician, and statesman who served as the 26th vice president of the United States from 1909 to 1913 under President Theodore Roosevelt.
