From Exordium Wiki

The Ulster Free State, formed in 1987 during the Anglo-Irish negotiations of the latter half of the twentieth century, has been continuously plagued by poor living standards and an economy battered by mass migration to Britain and the Irish Republic. Initially, the young nation saw a period of relative calm, with the bombings and massacres of the Troubles replaced by protests and riots. As effective as the power sharing scheme has been, the violent tendencies of the catholic and protestant paramilitaries are beginning to read their ugly heads again, with Britain’s withdrawal from the EEC only making matters worse. However, as the world stands on the brink of a new era, an emerging generation is starting to see themselves as neither British or Irish, but as Ulsterist. Most would agree now that Ulster stands at a crossroad, with serious decisions about it’s future needing to be made imminently.
