Mahlerism

(Redirected from Butlerianism)

Mahlerism (formerly known as Butlerianism) is a philosophical and political movement that advocates for the abolition and termination of artificial general intelligence and generative AI as fundamental threats to human civilization by an organized system. This system is advocated to be a single, centralized artificial consciousness or artificial super-intelligence. Proponents of Mahlerism regard artificial generative intelligence and artificial general intelligence to be grave, existential threats to humanity, and believe in a "Mahlerian caretaker" to safeguard progressive advancements in AI while destroying harmful and anti-humanist systens. Mahlerism is key to the political ideology of International Communism, and was developed by Lily Klemperer and the Organization for the Research of Artificial Sentience starting in 2019.
