Raúl Santaolalla
Raúl Santaolalla (1958 - unknown) was a Chilean military officer who was responsible for a number of atrocities during the Viaux dictatorship.
Becoming a colonel at the age of 23, he was close to Viaux, who affectionately called him "mi italiano," a reference to his Black Italian ancestry. Santaolalla was known for his peculiar method of disposing of the corpses of dissidents he executed, either dissolving them in sulfuric acid or burying them in cement in construction sites.
He disappeared in 1986, after a reported falling out with Viaux. No photos of him are known to exist, and he is presumed dead by the Chilean government.
