'''Frank Orren Lowden''' (January 26, 1861 – March 20, 1943) was an American Republican Party politician who served as the 29th [[president of the United States]] from 1921 to 1929. Prior to becoming President, he served as a United States Representative from Illinois from 1906 to 1911 and the 28th [[Vice President of the United States|vice president]] from 1913 to 1921 under Charles Evan Hughes. Lowden is the only person to have served two terms as both Vice President and President of the United States.
